Customers at Fly Me ToThe Moon often comment on the flower and book displays I create in our boutique flower shop. Truth be told, I began using old books to elevate objects on display, because I didn't have anything else.

A unique vessel coupled with brightly-colored books will give your flower and book display more interest.
Making a vignette of flowers and books is not as hard or easy as it seems. The key is having interesting looking books and a few coordinated knick-knacks, I mean decorative elements and fresh flowers of course.

Cut a flower or maybe a few and place them in a vase or vessel of water. Then add small boxes, figures or few of your favorite collectibles to highlight your vignette.

Try placing your book(s) in various positions then add your flowers to the display. Most vignettes look best with at least 3 items. Locate other decorative elements to add to the display. The additional items should be of varying heights and texture.
