Most flowers look best when they are clustered by type and color. That's what I think anyway. I know many florists like to mix all of the flowers together, but that makes your eyes dart all over the place.
This style is more like a garden. There's a bunch of roses over here. A bunch of hydrangea over there. And so on.

That's the same concept used in this beautiful flower arrangement designed by Planet Flowers. It's made of several bunches of flowers clustered in vases.
And here's my favorite part. They're propped up on an angle in the vases. So they give the flower arrangement more height and presence. No more worrying about flowers that are too short.
Some folks call this a deconstructed flower arrangement. The individual vases alone don't make much of a statement, but together they make one stunning flower arrangement.
You could even use smaller vases and less flowers if you like.
You can make this arrangement in no time. Just pick up several bunches of flowers from your ahem, favorite local florist, Trader Joe or wherever you get your flowers.
What do you think about this style of flower arranging?

P.S. If you decide to make this flower arrangement, keep your eye on the bottom of the vases to make sure the stems are always in the water!
