Top 5 December Centerpieces You Can Create at Home on a Budget
I usually show you over the top floral designs for fancy schmancy events. But this month, I decided to present centerpiece ideas you could do yourself. Many of the elements in these designs you may already have or can easily get.
1) Image: My Home Ideas
This minimalist centerpiece is beyond easy. Just cut a piece off a real Christmas tree and place it in a glass. This is a bit too minimal for me, but you could add berries, a flower or other types of pine.
2) Image: Carolyne Roehm
Using a lot of an inexpensive flower in a single color, such as these red carnations, make a big impact for little money.
3) Image: Pier 1 Imports
Use pine cones and ornaments to create unique centerpieces for your table. Buy or make some interesting napkin rings. Or just tie a pretty ribbon on each napkin.
4) Image: Pottery Barn
Grab some branches. Place them in a vase and hang ornaments from them. What could be simpler? Paint the branches to match your decor if you like.
5) Image: via Examiner
Wrap some empty medicine, candy or jewelry boxes. Place them on a cake stand or tray with some pine, berries or ornaments and voila you have an interesting centerpiece.
I'd like to try the branches with the dangling ornaments. I've used that for displays at the shop. But never at a dining table.
Which one of these Top 5 December Centerpieces will you try?
